A little about me (Sheila)...

I am an almost 53 year old married mother of one, grandmother of three living in the Fredericksburg area of Virginia.  I have lived in this are since 1987 and have lived in Virginia since 1975.

 I am an animal lover and am owned by 3 dogs and two cats.  All of my animals are rescues, either strays or from the animal shelter.  Rachel is an Australian Shepherd mix about 7 years old.  Jason and Ivan (Chihuahua somethings, as the vet calls them) are about 1 year old and were found together in front of the office where I work.  Albert is a silver gray/blue and white cat about years old. And Tigerlil is a three year old brown patch tabby who was found feral on the installation where I work when she was about 4 weeks old.

I was an Air Force brat growing up and managed to attend 14 different schools before I graduated from high school in Huntsville, Alabama.  I attended college at the University of Alabama in Huntsville for two years then I transferred and  graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Education.

Unfortunately for me, I discovered too late that I was a terrible teacher and have worked for the Federal Government for 27 years.  Currently I am an Information Technology Specialist for the Army.  I am looking forward to retiring in three years and moving to Southern Alabama. I intend on devoting my self full time to my family  and other interests you see on this website.
